Living In The End: How To Embody Your Wish Fulfilled

Introduction

In this blog post, I am going to be talking about the concept of living in the end, discussing some very simple ways to do this, how to deal with doubt when it arises during intention setting and finally an insight into the physiology of embodying the wish fulfilled. Stay tuned.

The first time I heard the saying “Live in the end,” I honestly was like... this is going to be easy. It sounded like the kind of advice I was seeking all along. This is after months on months of trying to attract things using the rather vague law of attraction principles (I know it works for others, but not me, no), want it bad and then completely detached from what I was attracting. Living in the end was the missing piece to my manifestation puzzle.

Living in the end was clearly the way to go since I was feeling stuck in the middle, right between wanting it and the resistance towards getting it. But the question now is, how do I act like I already have something that I clearly do not yet have?

I knew it was going to be tricky, and my brain and psyche knew this as well - so whenever I tried to visualize myself in the wish fulfilled, that beach house in Malibu, my logical brain would say, "Hey, I just checked the facts, bro... not possible. Here, have some resistance and doubt from years of conditioning instead."

The level of resistance in my way was absolutely ridiculous; it was what I would describe as a "literal mad-house" up in there. The experience, if I could describe it, would be the equivalent of attending the mad hatters' tea party in Wonderland. Things that should obviously be easy to visualize suddenly seem nerve-wreckingly difficult.

Simple visualization techniques are now easier said than done. See, there was this huge invisible wall that had suddenly appeared, well, not appeared since I still couldn't see it, but boy did I feel it as I smacked right into it. Most people won't tell you about this multi-layered brick wall of doubts, fear, anxiety and a hundred percent resistance. Apparently, there are years of unlearning and reprogramming involved; toxic and limiting thought patterns have morphed into chains barring the doors to all that I desire.

And they are not just ideas in my head, no. Upon further inspection, one discovers that not only have these limiting beliefs developed a mind of their own, but they now see my happily ever after as a threat and would attack it with the tenacity of a very angry honey badger.

It was a frustrating cycle, and those were indeed dark times haha 😅 (painful memories resurfacing). Anyway, once I learned exactly what had happened, really broke it apart into bits that I could wrap my head around, I realized the idea behind it all was actually quite simple — The gist: you are trying to become a version of yourself that already owns the thing you want.

All the things I had learned from the law of attraction suddenly started to make practical sense. Every time I tried to visualize, I was entering a state that told the etheric field that I was lacking alignment. See, alignment was a new concept at this point. At that time, I only needed to think about it.

Now I was required to re-organize my entire life, mentally, physically, emotionally and physiologically, not just pretending or acting as if. But literally becoming a new person. This means to throw out anything and everything that potentially stands in the way of your attaining the wish fulfilled. I am talking about absolute devotion to the process of self-transformation.

It was for me, self-help with extra alchemical steps. I thought this was supposed to be easy; apparently, it was designed for less physical and more mental effort.

Understanding the Concept

To live in the end literally just means to think about it, feel it, and respond to it as though all your wishes are already fulfilled. NOTE: You don’t wait for the external confirmation — you become the confirmation. You begin to identify with the version of you who already has that job you want, the car, the relationship, goals and all or the peace you seek.

A friend of mine once told a story of how her toddler tossed the remote behind the couch, and as she peered down underneath the couch, she could clearly see the remote, but her hands couldn't reach it. She had to grab something to help her reach after a brief session of clawing aimlessly at the remote and feeling silly in doing so. Because she knew from sight she wouldn't be able to reach it.

She made a comparison of this experience with the use of the laws of manifestation. Sometimes, you just know, intuitively or logically, that your effort will not be enough to get you to your manifestations. That was often the case for me, and my solution for this was to push through, keep going.

The answer was to give it to yourself, grab something with the proper length to give you the range you need. In my case, I was hoping some divine entity was going to come and grant my wishes, but in reality, I was already given all the tools and faculties I needed to give myself all that I wish for. All I needed to do was give it to myself in my imagination.

At first, that will sound a little forced or fake, especially if you are new to the whole New Age and Laws thing. But it’s really not about pretending but about shifting inner identity. Think of it as growth in the direction of your goals, but with a little bit of magic. Here is the gimmick: It’s about entering the state of being that naturally attracts what you desire because it matches your emotional and mental frequency.

You probably like... what? Here it is in simpler terms: When you live as if it’s done, you stop broadcasting “I don’t have it yet” into the etheric field of the Universe. And that’s the signal the universe responds to. See the Universe responds to 3 things:

  • Who are you?
  • What you desire
  • What you CONSENT to be as true i.e what you believe.
Aha.. see how I said consent, that's cuz belief system runs the whole thing, and you always get what you believe you deserve.

Your mission is to see yourself in your imagination with that which you desire and believe that what you see is real. No extra steps, but I find a little clarity goes a long way. Think of it as a memory, but not for a past event, but a future one. Think time is not linear; all your memories for this lifetime are already stored in your mind, you just think the event precedes the memory, but in reality, it is the opposite.

A Simple Example: Why Not?

Using the hypothetical situation of a person who has a habit of getting to work late and I would very much like to change that. What do I do in terms of living in the end? Here is what I would do instead of setting alarms, planning for breakfast and worrying about how to beat the morning traffic. I would simply close my eyes, visualize myself already at work, in my imagination, I would look at the time on my watch, work computer or phone, and behold, the time says I am early. Voila... living in the end means I now live in that mental space rent-free until it shows up in 3D reality, i.e the real world.

PRO TIP: Hold all visualizations for at least 10 to 12 secs, that's how long it takes for your brain to record a sensory input as a real event. Technically, it takes a quarter to half a second, so 10 is plenty.

This folks is what it means to "live in the end". All you need to do is see yourself already at work, already where you’re supposed to be, in that dream car, on that date, in that house, etc. You are not trying to get there; you are there, and for those 10 secs, your whole body and psyche have and will agree on one thing, and that is “I am early and was at work on time.”

The best part is that it is just 10 secs, so you can do this short mental workout just a few times a day

You don’t have to visualize for hours on end; if that works for you, by all means do. However, 10 secs is enough so it’s clear and felt. The idea is not in duration but in the intensity of knowing. Which becomes a habit over time.

Dealing with Doubt

Doubts are a pickle, and they will come — but that’s okay. Doubts are normal under these circumstances; one tends to question how things will turn out, to wonder what could go wrong, to think about all this and then some, “Hmmm... what if this doesn’t work out?” It's a non-stop stream of input, so I learned not to see doubt as an obstacle in my path, but now as an integral part of the process rather than an enemy of it.

So whenever doubt starts to appear, which is quite often, I say this to myself:

“This is all happening for my benefit, and is leading me to my wish fulfilled.”

This little affirmation trick is a game-changer. See the same way a car needs friction to move its tyres, your manifestation can use doubt as friction or fuel, in this case, to build momentum. In science, we learned that without any resistance, nothing will move forward.

So I stopped fighting my doubts, and I started letting them in, observing and transmuting them — basically, I started turning trashy emotional and mental states into treasure. Alchemy baby.

See, here is the kicker, most doubts you feel all day long don’t even come from you. They can come from literally everywhere, the environment, media, your beliefs which you have been absorbing since childhood, from the voices of parents, teachers, or society and whatnot, all telling you what’s “realistic” and what's just not possible. These are but echoes of the past, all trying to protect you (your ego identity) from disappointment. But truth be told, doubts can’t ruin your manifestation unless you agree with them. Unless you CONSENT to it.

So whenever I am out in the vortex doing my thing, visualizing and stuff and doubt arises, all I do is pause, breathe, affirm (mentally or out loud), and do my ten-second scene again.

Why does this work? It works cuz the state of being will always win — not the doubts, nor the fear, nor even the logic, but the state of mind and being you consistently occupy within yourself, this becomes your lived reality.

So In Summary;

  • “Living in the end” is simply to embody the version of you who already has what you desire. Think W.W.J.D but with you instead.
  • 10 to 12 seconds of vivid imagination, when done with intensity and feeling, is more potent than hours of struggle.
  • Doubt is natural and even beneficial; it becomes fuel — friction that propels manifestation forward.
  • The state of being in the wish fulfilled will always override all external appearances.
